  • Kavale, Siegel, and Lembke elected to DLD Executive Board
    Karen J. Rooney, past president of the Division for Learning Disabilities, announced that Kenneth Kavale, Linda S. Siegel, and Erika Lembke have been elected to the executive board of the Division for Learning Disabilities (DLD). They will serve in the offices of president elect, vice president, and secretary, respectively, with their terms beginning 1 July 2008.
  • 2007 Call for Nominations
    DLD's Past President, Karen Rooney, is soliciting nominations for vice president and secretary for DLD. The terms of the offices begin in July 2008. The secretary serves a two-year term, and the vice president serves over four years, moving from vice president to president-elect, president, and past president in successive years.
  • Espin and Bright elected to DLD Executive Board
    DLD is pleased to announce that Christine Espin of the University of Minnesota at Twin Cities and Kimberly Bright of Shippensburg State University (PA) have been elected to the executive board of the Division for Learning Disabilities (DLD) of the Council for Exceptional Children.
  • DLD: Director Posny Clarifies Comments
    The Division for Learning Disabilities (DLD) is pleased to provide Director Alexa Posney's clarification of comments that she made in the fall of 2006 regarding special education.
